2021 Southwest Georgia Prosperity Summit

The vision of Golden Triangle RC&D has always been “a sustained natural resource base increased social and economic opportunities, enriched communities, and improve quality of life” for our member counties and beyond. Local prosperity is a cornerstone for improved quality of life and Golden Triangle RC&D is consistently striving to build a better tomorrow across our area.

Through a grant from the USDA - Office of Partnerships and Public Engagement, Golden Triangle RC&D has partnered with The Sherrod Institute to focus on locally-driven, bottom-up solutions to address community-specific and self-identified challenges and issues in Southwest Georgia.

To accomplish these goals a local Prosperity Council was formed to evaluate and address known issues in the area. Using the councils’ findings, Golden Triangle created an “Online Summit” to distribute information to the community.
